Dream is adored by her guardian home and by us as her breeders. She’s one of those dogs who makes living with her an absolute pleasure, combining a wonderful temperament with a huge personality and an enthusiasm for life that’s impossible not to love. She reads the other dogs in the home beautifully, understands how to settle and switch off during the day, and is equally happy being part of the action when something exciting is happening. She has that lovely balance of being able to relax when nothing is going on, while always being ready to entertain when the opportunity arises! Dream has so much character, and she certainly knows how to make people laugh.
She’s an incredibly sociable girl who can absolutely be taken anywhere. Dream loves people, whether they’re old friends or complete strangers, and is always happy to make a new acquaintance. Her preferred greeting is to launch herself into your arms for cuddles and kisses, because personal space is clearly an overrated concept in her eyes! However, she’s equally capable of listening when asked and will happily sit calmly when needed. She’s affectionate, confident and outgoing, with a lovely ability to adapt to different environments without losing that cheeky Dream personality we know and love. She genuinely enjoys being involved in whatever you’re doing, whether that’s heading out for an adventure, spending time with people or simply having a cuddle on the sofa.
Training Dream has been a wonderful journey, and watching her develop has been incredibly rewarding. Her speed, commitment and beautiful jump form make her an absolute thrill to watch, and she brings a real sense of enthusiasm and athleticism to her work. She’s quick to learn, loves having a job to do and is always keen to engage with her handler. She’s a little genius when it comes to her commands, picking things up quickly and showing a genuine desire to understand what’s being asked of her. She really does want to get things right, and that willingness to work with you is one of the things we love most about her.
That desire to get everything right does mean Dream can be a little sensitive when things don't go to plan. She cares about her work and can put pressure on herself, so understanding her and knowing when to reassure her is important. However, this is something that can be managed easily with the right approach, and it’s simply another part of understanding the individual dog in front of you. Dream thrives when her handler recognises what she needs, gives her confidence and allows her to enjoy the process. When she feels comfortable and understands what’s expected of her, she’s a very special little athlete with so much to give.
She made her competition debut at just 18 months old and took to the ring like a seasoned professional. She queued beautifully, settled between runs and was able to maintain her focus on her handler, even in the atmosphere of the largest championship shows. For a young dog experiencing that environment, we couldn't have asked for much more. She showed a lovely ability to cope with the excitement around her while remaining engaged with the person she was working with, and it was a real pleasure to watch her confidence grow.
We were absolutely over the moon when Dream qualified for the Starters Cup final at her very first KCIAF. To achieve that at the beginning of her competition journey was a hugely proud moment for us and a wonderful reflection of the work, commitment and partnership behind her. Of course, we're excited to see what the future holds for her, but just as importantly, we're enjoying watching her develop at her own pace and seeing all the different sides of her personality shine through. Dream has already given us so many reasons to be proud, and we have every reason to believe there are plenty more exciting moments ahead.
For us, Dream is a lovely example of why we care so much about temperament alongside ability. She’s athletic, intelligent, enthusiastic and capable, but she’s also affectionate, sociable, adaptable and an absolute joy to have around. She can switch from a serious little athlete who is completely focused on her handler to a ridiculous, attention-seeking clown who seems to exist purely to make everyone laugh. That combination is what makes her so special to us. She isn't just a dog who performs well; she's a dog with a wonderful personality who genuinely enjoys life and the people around her.
We welcome anyone in the UK to come and meet Dream and see just how wonderful she is for yourselves. We’re always happy for people to see our dogs out in the real world, experience their temperaments first-hand and get a genuine feel for the individuals they are, rather than simply taking our word for it. If Dream is someone you'd be interested in meeting, please get in touch and we'll happily provide a list of the shows she'll be attending. We'd much rather people come and meet her, have a chat and make their own minds up about the girl we've had the pleasure of watching grow.
Oh… and because no dog is perfect, Dream has also developed some very firm opinions about the world.
She will not urinate on concrete, because apparently that's beneath her standards, grass only, and vegetables are strictly off the menu unless they're green. We're not entirely sure who appointed her head of quality control, but she's clearly taking the role very seriously. She's clever, athletic, affectionate and full of promise, but she's also a weirdo in the most entertaining way possible. And honestly, we wouldn't have her any other way!
We plan to have Dream puppies Winter 2027
