Swagger is an adorable dog who makes me laugh every day. She has a big personality and an infectious zest for life. She was a very easy puppy and continues to be a very easy dog to live with. She gets on great with my other dogs and they play most days, although she always waits to be invited and doesn’t harass. She is very much an outdoors type dog and spends most of her time in the garden mooching around or playing with her ball. When indoors she settles easily, curling up in the corner of the settee. However, she is not a cuddle bun and prefers to just curl up by my feet.

Swagger is very happy in her own world and takes no notice of other people or dogs when we are on a walk. She has had limited exposure to other animals (just some cows, sheep, horses, squirrels and hedgehogs) and has taken no notice of any of them. She is not fazed by traffic or loud noises, and she is quite happy to lead walk along a busy road.

Swagger is very fast of movement and sometimes it appears that she is in the garden and in the house at the same time. Initial agility training involved running at top speed with no clue. Once she realized I had the map I came into the equation and we are now happily working together. She is athletic and focused, runs very smoothly and has great drive. She is quick to learn and very enthusiastic and we get many compliments. We have yet to start competing.

Round the rings Swagger is not interested in other dogs running. She would rather play tuggy with me or jump up at passing random strangers to say hello. She is very much a people dog. She will happily wait in line when we queue for friends.

Overall she is a very happy, contented, confident, entertaining dog who loves life and her company brings me great joy.
